- wiken flashback -

* friday roxy night *
this is what i call my "semi-natural" high - 4 shots of semi-diluted tequila, loud music and semi-tireless dancing *i get tired from too much dancing*... chireh and i have been to roxy gazillion times .. the cover charge is still at 300NT with 200 being consumable ... but it's the first time that we got 8 shots of tequila for our 400NT ... and that's berfore 12mn ... prior to last friday night, 400NT equals 2 shots of tequila if bought before 12mn and 4 shots if bought 12mn onwards ... which brings me to say that it's semi-diluted :) ... well, tinamaan pa din naman kami so i've nothing to complain about ... going to roxy is not as fun as before, though (http://demensya.blogspot.com/2006/06/meat-day-roxy-99-night-yesterday-was.html) ... i guess chireh was right ... maybe roxy was getting too old for us ...

* saterdi international day *
together with chireh, i went to taipei american school (tas) - where papa d is teaching - to attend their international food festival ... tas is around tienmu area which, i believe, has a high population for foreigners ... mostly, caucasians ... certain areas in tienmu has a different feel ... it's like i'm not in taipei ... and this is the same when i was inside tas ... it was so ... "international" ... different shapes and colors ... different culture and upbringing ... the food fest, by the way, showcased stuffs from US, japan, malaysia, singapore, india, denmark, new zealand, australia etc etc ... weird thing about me was i only ate hotdog on a bun *kamot ulo* ... and coke ... i'm so international ....

after the food fest, papa d invited us to go to this hiking place near his house ... still around the tienmu area ... that place was really fabulous ... we stayed there for some time and it was so relaxing ... so peaceful ... it's the kind of place that makes me appreciate where i am right now ...

* sundi slacking day *
my abdomen hurts since last night ... i was starting to worry ... thinking that i'm coming down with something ... and then i realized that it hurts given certain movements only ... it doesn't hurt all the time ... and then i realized it's my abdominal muscles (fats???) hating me ... for dancing way too much last friday ... kulang na ako sa praktis ...

the movie entitled prime (http://imdb.com/title/tt0387514/) is nice ... it's a may-december love affair between rafi (uma thurman) and david (bryan greenberg) ... rafi is 37 years old, just got divorced and has lisa (meryl streep) for a pyschologist ... david is 23 years old, jewish, an artist and is lisa's son ... rafi and david got together ... intially, without the knowledge of lisa ... but after getting details from david and rafi ... she was able to put two-and-two together ... everything seems to be working out well ... it even appears that lisa has gotten over the fact that rafi is 14 years older that her son and is not jewish ... but rafi and david still didn't end up together ... no matter how they love each other ... what's up with that? ... but i like it more because of that : )... it was saying that love isn't always enough and meryl streep said sumtin like, people fall in love, *sumtin, i forgot*, and they move on and that's ok ...
